Essential Job Functions:

• The job applicant must demonstrate the capacity to complete job requirements, with or without accommodations based on their work history:
• Operate and manage different kinds of forklift machinery, including pallet jacks, standup lifts, and turret trucks, as part of daily work responsibilities.
• Consistently carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Merchandise Barcode Scanning Goes Mobile with Hand-Held Devices
• Capable of operating a pick-module that is computerized
• Improve the preparation of goods for shipping to PETCO outlets through efficient handling of warehouse goods and expediting movement and stocking of goods.
• The tasks assigned in this position are generally routine and unvarying, requiring frequent repetition. Because this is a safety-sensitive job, drug testing is required.

Supervisory Responsibility:

While supervising employees is not a main responsibility of this role, there may be instances where management assigns the employee with the task of providing functional guidance to others.

Work Environment:

While the work occasionally requires employees to work outdoors, most of the duties are performed indoors under warehouse conditions that can be challenging. These include exposure to heat, cold, dust, fumes, and noise, in addition to physical labor such as lifting, carrying, bending, and climbing
