Role and Responsibilities:

As a Delivery Route Driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently delivering mail and packages on a designated route while upholding USPS service standards.

• Sort, load, and organize mail and packages for assigned delivery routes
• Operate a USPS vehicle to deliver mail in a safe and timely manner
• Ensure accurate and complete delivery and pickup of mail along your route
• Provide excellent customer service by answering delivery-related inquiries
• Report any route hazards, incidents, or equipment issues promptly
• Follow all postal regulations, safety standards, and vehicle operation policies

Required Skills and Experience:

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Ability to lift and carry mail packages up to 70 lbs
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Basic knowledge of handheld scanners or delivery tracking tools
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous delivery or courier experience
• Familiarity with local delivery routes and geography
• Customer service background
