Essential Job Functions:

• The incumbent must possess experience and competence in performing job duties, irrespective of amendments:
• Operate and manage different kinds of forklift machinery, including pallet jacks, standup lifts, and turret trucks, as part of daily work responsibilities.
• Regularly hoist items that can weigh as much as 50 pounds.
• Merchandise Barcode Scanning Goes Mobile with Hand-Held Devices
• Skilled at handling tasks with a computerized pick-module
• Promote the timely preparation and delivery of merchandise to PETCO stores via the effective coordination of warehouse activities of stock receipt, movement, and stocking.
• The responsibilities within this role are commonly repetitive and unvaried, taking place several times each day. A drug test is obligatory for this safety-critical job.

Supervisory Responsibility:

While supervising employees is not a main responsibility of this role, there may be instances where management assigns the employee with the task of providing functional guidance to others.

Work Environment:

While the work occasionally requires employees to work outdoors, most of the duties are performed indoors under warehouse conditions that can be challenging. These include exposure to heat, cold, dust, fumes, and noise, in addition to physical labor such as lifting, carrying, bending, and climbing
