It is essential to select and process merchandise with caution, precision, and speed, in adherence to the guidelines laid out by Petco Stores and Distribution Centers.
The tasks required for this role are repetitive and routine in nature, and they recur numerous times throughout the day.
Use care when retrieving items from storage bins and shelves to minimize risk
The shipment of merchandise requires the use of boxes to package items, along with the mandatory attachment of flawless labels to all processed orders.
Thoroughly finish all associated paperwork, which includes but is not limited to production sheets related to the Labor Management Program, standards, Petco policies, and procedures, and more.
Keeping your work area clean, tidy, and well-organized is necessary as per the Petco DC Sanitation policy. It is equally essential to assist in maintaining a secure and hazard-free environment in the warehouse.
Adhere to safety protocols and comply with all relevant rules and regulations while performing tasks.
Pay attention to and endorse the implementation of recognized safety procedures.
Foster positive and collaborative relationships with colleagues and superiors by displaying demeanor that embodies moral principles and consideration towards others at work.
Ensure that the warehouse is consistently neat and tidy.
