As a Petco Pet Stylist, you will offer grooming services that are of the highest quality to cat and dog owners. You will treat each pet's grooming needs with the utmost care and diligence, ensuring that they leave the salon looking gorgeous and feeling fantastic.

Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive grooming amenities that include nail clipping, ear cleansing, bathing, brushing, haircutting, and styling, focusing on breed criterion and pet owners' preferences.
• Utilize grooming implements, such as razors and brushes, with caution and meticulous attention to detail to prioritize the safety and well-being of the animal.
• The secret to providing consistently excellent pet grooming services lies in following and implementing Petco's grooming policies, standards, and guidelines.
• Pay close attention to pets to spot any signs of discomfort, illness, or injury, and inform pet owners and store management promptly if any concerns arise.
• Adequately addressing the distinct requirements of each pet is crucial, considering variables that include their coat texture, skin health, and disposition.
• Enhance your customers' satisfaction by paying close attention to their requests, offering expert grooming advice, and addressing any concerns or questions that may arise.
• Educate pet owners to keep their pet's teeth clean to avoid dental issues which can affect their overall health. Explain the importance of regular brushing, and suggest using a pet-specific toothpaste and toothbrush.
• Engage in collaborative efforts with other groomers and team members to establish a positive and supportive work environment.

• Stamina to endure long hours of standing, safely lift and handle pets of varying sizes, and perform repetitive grooming tasks.
