Role and Responsibilities:
In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and timely transportation of mail and packages. You will follow established delivery routes, ensure package integrity, and deliver exceptional service to customers.
- Operate USPS delivery vehicles safely and responsibly
- Deliver mail and packages accurately and on time
- Follow designated routes and adhere to schedules
- Handle mail with care and ensure package integrity
- Provide courteous and professional service to customers
- Inspect vehicles before and after use and report any issues
- Comply with all USPS safety protocols and regulations
Required Skills and Experience:
- Valid driver�s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to operate a delivery vehicle safely and efficiently
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Attention to detail in sorting and delivering packages
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous delivery or driving experience in a logistics or postal environment
- Familiarity with GPS and electronic delivery tracking systems
- Ability to lift and carry packages up to 70 lbs
