Assist the manager with daily operating procedures, optimize financial gain, and supervise associate development. Exhibit the Company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety of team members and customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Set high standards for customer service and hold your colleagues accountable for meeting them
  • Collaborate with managers to hire new talent for the organization
  • Provide training and support to employees to showcase their ability to adhere to customer service and operational guidelines
  • Confirm that store and corporate policies, procedures, and operating standards are reliably implemented and frequently communicated to encourage compliance
  • Use customer feedback and satisfaction metrics to continuously improve service and ensure Starbucks standards are met
  • Upholding health, safety, and sanitation standards will help guarantee the quality and safety of all products
  • Train new employees on the Duty Rosters, and ensure they learn to perform the tasks as expected
  • Implement effective markdown strategies to move merchandise and reduce inventory levels
  • Collaborate with store management to schedule kiosk personnel and make necessary staffing changes to meet business demands
  • Authenticate that all cash handling procedures and register duties are carried out with complete accuracy and consistency
  • Check the quantities and kinds of materials, supplies, and inventory required for stocking are obtained and managed efficiently
  • Active participation from associates in product discussions, including the opportunity to ask questions and provide feedback, is key in ensuring that they feel confident in presenting product information to customers
  • Prepares timely and exact reports as required
  • Implementing advanced store training represents a significant investment in your business. But by doing so, you can expect to see a notable increase in your store's profitability over time.   • Guide and instruct staff in the completion of their job duties; carry out performance evaluations and provide feedback to them with actionable suggestions

Qualifications:

MINIMUM

  • In order to be eligible for this position, applicants must have a high school diploma or GED, along with at least one to two years of experience in customer service and six months of experience in a management role. Additionally, a combination of relevant education and experience may also be considered.
  • There are restrictions on certain activities unless an individual reaches a requisite age of at least 18 years or 19 years in Idaho
  • Clearing a drug screening can serve as evidence of a person's commitment to drug-free living, improving their standing in society
  • Skillset to excel in a fast-paced workplace
  • Being capable of working on weekends on a regular basis and adapting to any shift
  • Accuracy/attention to detail
  • Capable project and task organization skills are integral to successful completion of any given task
  • Barista certification
  • All businesses are obligated to obtain all licenses and certificates required to maintain full compliance with federal and state laws
