Front Desk Receptionist

Job Description:

As a cashier at WingStop, an individual is tasked with efficiently handling the process of taking and transmitting orders to the kitchen staff. Effective communication with team members and kitchen personnel is essential to ensure the timely fulfillment of customer orders. Cashiers are also responsible for managing their cash registers, addressing customer inquiries, and replacing food items as needed. This role requires individuals to excel as team players given the fast-paced and demanding nature of the job, emphasizing the importance of maintaining positive relationships with both colleagues and customers.

Primary Responsibilities:

The main duties and functions that need to be carried out as part of a job:

• Extend a friendly greeting and welcome to customers upon their arrival at the restaurant or when contacting the establishment by phone.
• Process customer requests through direct and telephonic communication, recommend additional menu options, and possess comprehensive knowledge about menu specifics, sauce explanations, new introductions, and promotional information.
• Process cash, credit card, and gift card transactions with precision and adhere to age verification protocols for alcohol sales.
• Offer guidance to customers seeking information and advise on menu choices.
• Verify that all orders are looked at within the Company's specified timeframes for quotes.
• Validate that all wings meet presentation standards and carefully double-check each order before delivering it to the customer(s).
• Verify the register's balance when ending your shift and deliver the total before the next shift's start.
• Assist in the organization and cleanliness of the Front of House by keeping it well-stocked and free of clutter.
• Prioritize safety in the workplace by practicing proper handling procedures and adhering to sanitation guidelines.
• Follow the company's guidelines for attire to maintain a professional and respectable look as per the Uniform Standards
• Guide customers through the complaint resolution process and escalate any unresolved issues to the manager, aiming to ensure that every customer leaves WINGSTOP with a positive impression.

Key Skills/Abilities:

• Experienced in utilizing POS systems and proficient in operating computerized registers for sales transactions.
• Possess excellent capabilities in cash handling.
• Showing professionalism, politeness, and reliability consistently, even during stressful times.
• Proficiency in engaging with others and demonstrating honesty is crucial.
