Role and Responsibilities:
As a Store Sales Associate, you will play a key role in ensuring customers have a positive and efficient experience at USPS retail counters. You will support operational goals by promoting postal products and delivering outstanding customer service.
- Assist customers with mailing and shipping services, including processing transactions and advising on product options
- Promote USPS services and products to customers, explaining benefits and answering questions clearly
- Handle payments accurately and operate point-of-sale systems efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of retail areas
- Support inventory management and restocking of retail products
- Ensure compliance with USPS policies and safety procedures
- Resolve customer concerns or escalate them to supervisors as needed
Required Skills and Experience:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Basic proficiency in handling cash transactions and operating retail systems
