- Deliver outstanding customer service whilst carrying out the required actions for releasing products to patients and providing patients with products, as permitted by state law
- Understand and adhere to the established policies on operating the cash register while meticulously following the cashier handling guidelines that minimize financial loses. These guidelines encompass managing electronic payment methods, including Credit/Debit Cards, EBT, and Gift Cards, besides cash and check transactions
- Understand and conform to the policies on acknowledging and redeeming seller coupons, limits on insufficiency of funds, and company shrinkage instructions
- Providing incentives such as discounts, free gifts, or memberships can also help encourage customers to take advantage of our sales and services
- Give accurate and concise answers to phone inquiries by triaging them systematically
- It is crucial to conduct regular stock checks and reconcile physical inventory levels with recorded levels to ensure accuracy and avoid discrepancies
- Follow the guidelines established by the organization for managing and monitoring non-prescription medication inventory using the automated inventory management system
- Uphold the established protocols for the department by ensuring that all work stations and customer waiting areas are kept clean and orderly
- By providing attentive customer service and genuinely caring about their experience, you can make customers feel valued and appreciated
- Observe and enforce all hygiene and safety policies and regulations as prescribed by the company, state, federal, and local health code regulations. Be vigilant and identify any hazardous condition and inform store management promptly
- Adhere to all laws and regulations as mandated by local, state and federal governments. Inform authorities of any illegal actions, including fraud, theft or robbery
