We have a workforce of 29,000 individuals who work in tandem across 1,500+ pet care centers, 250+ Vetco Total Care hospitals, preventive care clinics, distribution centers, and support centers.

Schedule:

The designated work hours are between the period of 4:00 am to 2:30 pm, Monday to Friday, with the possibility of working overtime

Pay:

$18.50/hour

• Aid in the prompt and precise preparation of merchandise for shipment to PETCO stores by expertly managing the receipt, transfer, and replenishment of warehouse inventory.
• A multitude of repetitive tasks that are performed every day:
• The candidate needs to provide evidence to support their competence in carrying out their assigned responsibilities, regardless of whether any special provisions are made for them:
• Operate various types of forklift equipment, such as pallet jacks, stand-up lifts, and turret trucks.
• Consistently carry loads that weigh up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
• The act of scanning the barcodes of items using a handheld computer is deemed acceptable
• Capable of operating pick-module via computer

Supervisory Responsibility:

Although this job usually doesn't require supervising fellow employees, management may occasionally assign added tasks, such as offering functional guidance to others.

Work Environment:

Working in this role involves heavy lifting, frequent bending, carrying, and climbing with continuous exposure to various environmental factors such as heat, cold, dust, dirt, fumes, and noise inside the warehouse. Though the occasional job task may be conducted outdoors, the bulk of the work is done at one location indoors. It is crucial to be aware of the potential hazards involved with this job.
